n. மணிக்கல் வெட்டுபவர், மணி செதுக்குபவர், மணிக்கல் மெருகு கொடுப்பவர், (பெ.) கல்சார்ந்த, கல்லின் மீது செதுக்கப்பட்ட, எழுத்துக்களைப் பொறிப்பதற்குரிய, கல்வெட்டுக்குரிய.

An artificer who cuts, polishes, and engraves precious stones; hence, a dealer in precious stones. 2. A virtuoso skilled in gems or precious stones; a connoisseur of lapidary work.
