n. குற்றேவலன், பணியாள், பணித்துறைப்பட்டி அணிந்த வேலையாள், கெஞ்சிப் பசப்புபவன், பிறரை ஒட்டி வாழ்பவர், ஒட்டுயிர் போன்று விடாது பற்றிநிற்பவர், (வினை) குற்றேவலனாயிரு, பணியாளாயிரு, கீழ்த்தரமான அடிமைக் குணத்தோடு நடந்துகொள்.
Lack"ey, n.; pl. Lackeys. Etym: [F. laquais; cf. Sp. & Pg. lacayo; of uncertain origin; perh. of German origin, and akin to E.lick, v.] Defn: An attending male servant; a footman; a servile follower. Like a Christian footboy or a gentleman's lackey. Shak. Lackey caterpillar (Zoöl.), the caterpillar, or larva, of any bombycid moth of the genus Clisiocampa; -- so called from its party- colored markings. The common European species (C. neustria) is striped with blue, yellow, and red, with a white line on the back. The American species (C.
