Jag"ger*y, n. Etym: [Hind jagri. Cf. Sugar.] Defn: Raw palm sugar, made in the East Indies by evaporating the fresh juice of several kinds of palm trees, but specifically that of the palmyra (Borassus flabelliformis). [Written also jagghery.]
