husk

n. உமி, வித்துக்களின் புறத்தோடு, புறத்தோல், மீந்தோல், உமிபோன்ற இயல்புடையது, சப்புச்சவறு, மோசமான பொருள், பயனற்ற பொருள், ஒட்டுணியால் கால்நடைகளுக்கு வரும் தொண்டை நோய் வகை, (வி.) உமிபோக்கு, மேல்தோடு அப்புறப்படுத்து.
