See Gooseberry.] Defn: Pertaining too, or resembling, a gooseberry; as, grossular garnet. Gros"su*lar, n. Etym: [See Grossular, a.] (Min.) Defn: A translucent garnet of a pale green color like that of the gooseberry; -- called also grossularite.
