eddy

a. சிறுநீர்ச்சுழி, சுழல்காற்று, நீர்ச்சுழல்போல் இயங்கும் மூடுபனித்திரை, புகையின் சுழலை, (வினை) சுழன்று சுழன்று இயங்கு.

A current of air or water running back, or in a direction contrary to the main current. 2. A current of water or air moving in a circular direction; a whirlpool.
