dumpling
n. தேகவைத்த அல்லது சுடப்பட்ட பிசைந்தமாக் கொழுக்கட்டை, சீமை இலந்தைப்பழம் முதலியவை உள்ளடக்கிய பிசைந்த மாவாற் செய்யப்பட்ட பிணியாரம்.

D. dompelen to plunge, dip, duck, Scot. to dump in to plunge into, and E. dump, v. t.] Defn: A roundish mass of dough boiled in soup, or as a sort of pudding; often, a cover of paste inclosing an apple or other fruit, and boiled or baked; as, an apple dumpling.
