n. மற்போர், மானமதிப்புக்காப்பை முன்னிட்டு முற்காலங்களில் திட்டவறையறைகளுக்குட்பட்டு நடத்தப்பட்ட இருவர் போராட்டம், சச்சரவு தீர்த்துவைக்க இருவரிடையே நிகழ்த்தப்படும் போராட்டம், எதிரெதிராக மனிதர் விலங்கு புள் உயிரினங்களிடையே நிகழ்த்தப்படும், காட்சிச்சண்டை, கட்சிப்போராட்டம், கொள்கைப் போராட்டம்., இருபக்க மோதல், (வினை) மற்போரிடு, இருவர் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபடு, சண்டையிடு, சச்சரவிடு.
Du"el, n. Etym: [It. duello, fr. L. duellum, orig., a contest between two, which passed into the common form bellum war, fr. duo two: cf. F. duel. See Bellicose, Two, and cf.
