n. கனவு, கனவு காணுதல், கனவுக்காட்சி, கனாத்தோற்றம், கனவு காணும் நேரம், வெறுங் கற்பனையான ஒன்று, எய்த முடியாத இலக்கு, மனக்கோட்டை, ஆழ்ந்த சிந்தனை, கனாத்தோற்றம் போன்ற காட்சி, கனாக்காட்சி போன்ற உரு, கனாக்காட்சிக்குரியது போன்ற பொருள், (வினை) கனாக்காண், வீண் நினைவுகளில் ஆழ், கனவிற்காண், கனவிற் கற்பனைசெய், கனவிற் காண்பதைப்போலக்காண், கனவிற் கற்பனை செய்வதைப்போலச் செய், கனவிலேனும் நினைக்கத்தக்கதாயிரு., முடியாதது முடியுமென்று எண்ணு, நினைவில் ஆழ், கருததுக்கொள், கற்பனைத்தோற்றங்கள் பெறு. சோம்பியிரு, செயல்முறைத் திறமற்றிரு.கனவுகள் நிறைந்த, மனக்கோட்டை, கட்டும் பாங்குள்ள, கனவுத்தோற்றமான, செயல்முறையை ஒட்டியிராத, தௌதவற்ற.

Dream, n. Etym: [Akin to OS. dr, D. droom, G. traum, Icel. draumr, Dan. & Sw. dröm; cf. G. trügen to deceive, Skr. druh to harm, hurt, try to hurt. AS. dreám joy, gladness, and OS. dr joy are, perh., different words; cf. Gr. 1. The thoughts, or series of thoughts, or imaginary transactions, which occupy the mind during sleep; a sleeping vision.
