doldrums
n. pl. எதிரெதிர் காற்று முட்டும் நில நடுக்கோட்டுக்கு அருகிலுள்ள பெருங்கடலில் திணற அடிக்கும் பெருங்காற்று வீசும் பகுதிகள், காற்றுத்தேக்கம், வெப்பமண்டலப் பகுதி, அமைதி, எழுச்சியற்றநிலை.
