ditch
n. குழி, பள்ளம், அகழ்,நீர்வடிகால், பந்தாடுஞ் சமநிலத்தின் கரை, (வினை) குழி அகழ், பள்ளம், தோண்டு, அகழியைச் சீர்செய், வடிகாலைத் தூய்மையாக்கு, சூழ அகழிடு,. வடிகாலிட்டு நீர் வடியவை, வண்டி முதலியவற்றின் வகையில் பள்ளத்தில் மாட்டிக் கொள்ளும்பச் செய்.
