dilute

-a. நீராளமான. நீர்கலத்தலால் திட்பம் குறைந்த, நீர்பெருக்கிய., கலவைவகையிற செறிவு குன்றிய, நிறவகையில் நீரால் அலம்பப்பட்டுச் சாயல் மங்கிய.v. நீராளமாக்கு கலவையில் நீர்கலத்தால் செறிவு குன்றுவி, நீர்பெருக்க, கலவையின் திட்பம் தளர்த்து, கலப்படம் செய், நிறவகையில் சாயல் மங்கவை, வண்ண முனைப்புக்குறை, தொழில் துறையில் ஆடவர்க்கப் பதிலாகப் பெண்டிர்தொகை பெருக்கு. தொழிலில் பயிற்சி பெறாத அல்லது திறமையில்லாத தொழிலாளால் தொகையைப் பெருக்கு.

Deluge.] 1. To make thinner or more liquid by admixture with something; to thin and dissolve by mixing. Mix their watery store. With the chyle's current, and dilute it more. Blackmore. 2. To diminish the strength, flavor, color, etc., of, by mixing; to reduce, especially by the addition of water; to temper; to attenuate; to weaken.
