n. தடுத்து நிறத்துபவர், (சட்) இன்னொருவருக்குச் சொந்தமான பொருளைக் கொடாது வைத்திருத்தல், ஆளைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்திக் காவலில் வைத்திருத்தல், சிறையில் இருப்பவரைத் தொடர்ந்து காவலிடில் வைத்திருப்பதற்குரிய ஆணை.
