n. கடனீட்டுப் பத்திரம், கடனாகப் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட தொகையைத் திருப்பிக் கொடுக்குமளவும் வட்டி செலுத்துவதாக்கண்டு வணிகநிலையம் முதலியவை தம்முடைய முத்திரையிட்டுக் கொடுக்கும் ஆவணம், அரசு நிலையங்கட்கு வக்ஷ்ங்கிய சரக்குக் கீடான பண உரிமைச்சீட்டு, சுங்கத்துறையினரிடமிருந்து ஏற்றுமதிக்கெதிராப் பெறும் பற்றுமுறி.

A writing acknowledging a debt; a writing or certificate signed by a public officer, as evidence of a debt due to some person; the sum thus due. 2.
