n. இருவர், துணைவர், இரண்டு, துணையிணை, சோடி, மணத்துணைவர், தம்பதிகள், ஆடல் துணைவர், ஒரு வாரில் கட்டப்பட்ட வேட்டை நாய் இணை, மோட்டின் இணைவிட்டம், இரண்டின் இணைப்பு, (இய.) ஒரே பொருளில் எதிரெதிராய் இயங்கும் இரண்டு ஆற்றல்களின் இணைவு, (வி.) இரண்டு ஒன்றாய் இணை, சோடியாக்கு, மணவினையால் இணை, வேட்டை நாய்களை இணைத்துக் கட்டு, ஊர்திப் பெட்டிகளைத் தொகுத்திணை, இரு கருத்துக்களை ஒருங்கி தொடர்புபடுத்து, கருத்துடன் கருத்து இணை.


Cou"ple (kp"'l), n. Etym: [F. couple, fr. L. copula a bond, band; co- + apere, aptum, ti join. See Art, a., and cf.Copula.] 1. That which joins or links two things together; a bond or tie; a coupler. Defn: See Couple-close. 5. (Elec.) Defn: One of the pairs of plates of two metals which compose a voltaic battery; -- called a voltaic couple or galvanic couple. 6. (Mech.) Defn: Two rotations, movements, etc., which are equal in amount but opposite in direction, and acting along parallel lines or around parallel axes. Note: The effect of a couple of forces is to produce a rotation. A couple of rotations is equivalent to a motion of translation. Cou"ple, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Coupled (kp"'ld); p. pr. & vb. n.
