Col"li*quate, v. t. & i. [imp. & p. p. Colliquated; p. pr. & vb. n. Colliquating.] Etym: [Pref. col- + L. liquare, liquatum, to melt.] Defn: To change from solid to fluid; to make or become liquid; to melt. [Obs.] The ore of it is colliquated by the violence of the fire. Boyle. [Ice] will colliquate in water or warm oil. Sir T. Browne.
