n. சுட்ட நிலக்கரி, கல்கரி, எளிதில் எரியும் ஆவிகள் மூட்டத்தில் எரிந்தபின் மீந்த நிலக்கரி, (வி.) சுட்ட நிலக்கரியாக்கு.
Coke, n. Etym: [Perh. akin to cake, n.] Defn: Mineral coal charred, or depriver of its bitumen, sulphur, or other volatile matter by roasting in a kiln or oven, or by distillation, as in gas works. It is lagerly used where [Written also coak.] Gas coke, the coke formed in gas retorts, as distinguished from that made in ovens. Coke, v. t. Defn: To convert into coke.
