-1 n. உலோகங்கள் அடிபடுவது போன்ற கணீரென்ற பேரொலி, எக்காள ஒலி, பெரிய மணியோசை, நாரை வாத்து போன்ற பறவைகள் எழுப்பும் உரத்த ஒலி, (வி.) கணீரென்ற ஒலி செய்.-2 n. (இசை.) பல நயங்கள் வாய்ந்த குரல், நயத்தரம்.
