Chyme, n. Etym: [L. chymus chyle, Gr. chyme. See Chyle.] (Physiol.) Defn: The pulpy mass of semi-digested food in the small intestines just after its passage from the stomach. It is separated in the intestines into chyle and excrement. See Chyle.
