Chey*ennes", n. pl.; sing. cheyenne. (Ethnol.) Defn: A warlike tribe of indians, related to the blackfeet, formerly inhabiting the region of Wyoming, but now mostly on reservations in the Indian Territory. They are noted for their horsemanship.
