v. கண்ணாடி உலோகங்கள் முதலியவற்றைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தி ஆறவைத்தல் மூலமோ நன்கு சூடாக்கி மெல்ல ஆறவிடுவதன் மூலமோ கரம் பதப்படுத்து, வாட்டிப் பதப்படுத்து, கண்ணாடி முதலிய பொருள்கள் மீது சாயம் ஏற்றுவதற்காகச் சூடுபடுத்து.
