A"ër*o*lite, n. Etym: [Aëro- + -lite: cf. F. aérolithe.] (Meteor.) Defn: A stone, or metallic mass, which has fallen to the earth from distant space; a meteorite; a meteoric stone. Note: Some writers limit the word to stony meteorites.
