adhesion
n. பற்றியிருத்தல், ஒட்டுப்பண்பு, (இயற்) பிறிதின்பற்று, அயற்பரப்பொட்டு, ஒருபொருளின் பரப்பிலுள்ள அணுக்கள் பிறிதொரு பொருளின் பரப்பிலுள்ள அணுக்களுடன் மிகுதியாக ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளும் தன்மை, (மரு) வீங்கிய உறுப்புக்களின் இயற்கைக்கு மாறுபட்ட இணைப்பு, பினைவுற்ற பரப்பு இணைவு, (தாவ) இருவேறு உறுப்பிணைவு.
